…born in Adelaide, South Australia. Nicole has lived and studied in Australia and other parts of the world. She completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Adelaide, and worked for many years in Tourism, including Sales, Management, Human Resources and Staff Training. During this time there was a lot of opportunity to travel and explore the world. With her German husband and family, Nicole moved to Mühldorf in 2001. After five years Nicole furthered her education by completing an international teacher training certificate, CELTA, through Cambridge University. Since then she has been teaching adult, General English courses at the VHS and has worked as a freelance Business English trainer for various private English Language Schools. The next natural progression for Nicole was to start her own language school with her like-minded, professional colleague Gabriele Langhammer.
Gabriele Langhammer, B.A.
Gabriele was born in Germany, but grew up in Chicago, USA, after emigrating there with her parents. Upon completing her Bachelor´s degree at St. Joseph’s College and receiving her teacher’s license in the state of Indiana, Gabriele started her teaching career. In 1980, she returned to Germany and initially worked as a Personal Assistant in a chemical company. Being a teacher at heart however, she began her twenty-two year career with the American Department of Defense Dependents’ School in Munich. Since moving to Mühldorf she has been teaching as a freelance English trainer, specialising in general and Business English for adults. Finding in Nicole a like-minded and similarly qualified English teacher, they decided to start their own language school.
